It looks like I have finally reached my end point
The time has come for me
To throw my trusty, spit encrusted microphone away
For the most part, I’ve had some really good times
But I’m tired of half ass
And that’s the most you can get out of bands at my age
I want to thank those who gave a shit
You’re more valued than you know
But it’s not worth it to play at home again and again and…
It’s nobody’s fault but my own
I held on to a dream for far too long
My aspirations are mine alone
Pointless to hope others will come along
I’m leaning towards another path
I’m going into retirement
I’m not gonna live like an old man
